La Terre is the land-and-weather desk of France InfoBuffoon. Published by Tabaconda LLC, Florida, USA. English-language. Not a park shop, not a ski operator, not a drone channel with a permit we do not have.
This site exists because France's outdoor calendar is specific. A park gate, a fire-risk day, a snow line, and a coastal wind are not mood. They are the difference between a walk and a wasted transfer.
How a page is built
Park pages start from how you enter, whether you need a booking, and what the weather does to the trail. Coast pages start from a stretch of shore, not "the Mediterranean" as one beach. Climate pages are month-by-month and regional; we will not sell you Provence in August as a gentle idea.
Official sources first: the park's own site, Météo-France, the prefecture's fire-risk map, ONF when the forest is the point. A sunset reel is not a forecast.
UK readers still need a dated passport story. We date it. We do not freeze ETIAS in a headline.
Who publishes

What we will not do

A gate that now needs a reservation, a trail reroute, a beach flag you stood under: name the page and the date. A photograph of the sign beats a forum fight. We cannot open the park. We can fix the hours.
How to use this site
Start with the land or which season. Parks now sit in a directory — Parks — so the header is not seven mountain names. Coasts, flora, and fauna work the same way: open the directory, pick one, walk it.

Directories keep the top bar honest. Geography, Climate, Coastlines, Flora, and Fauna are portals, not a phone book of every ridge. If a page is thin on a permit, we would rather say "check the park site this week" than invent a sentence that sounds finished.
La Terre is a working desk. Use it with the week you walk, not as a poster of lavender.
A closed trail is not a failure of character. It is a prefecture PDF. We would rather send you to that PDF than write a paragraph that sounds like a hike you cannot take.
We date facts that move. We name the official page. We keep kit searches in the sentence that already had the noun. We keep the owner's name off the public site. That is the house style, and it is the same on all five desks.
