Écrins National Park

The largest glacial national park in France — high Alpine peaks, wildflower meadows, and exceptional biodiversity.

Écrins National Park

The Écrins is the big one — France's largest mainland national park by land area and its most Alpine in character. Sitting between Grenoble and Briançon in the Dauphiné Alps, it contains over 100 peaks above 3,000 m, the southernmost major glaciers in France, and deep valleys that shelter some of Europe's richest mountain biodiversity.
